FAQ

  • Is this a paying gig? Yes. We value the contributions of the voice actors who help us bring our podcast to life, and we aim to compensate them.
  • What kind of roles are available? Monster is a male role.
  • What if I’m non-binary? Pick a role, go for it!
  • Are any of these reoccurring roles? Yes.
  • How many episodes? 7 episodes.
  • What are you looking for? Simply put, we are looking for a great voice to bring life to this role, so please read the character description on the casting call sheet and send us recordings of your best takes.
  • Do I need to listen to Season 1 of Station151 before submitting for a role? No, but it might be a good idea, so that you can get a better idea of what you’re getting into.
  • Where will this be recorded? In your home and on your own recording setup, unless you want to fly to Kansas City on your own dime and record in a coat closet (not advised).
  • When are you recording? April 2024.
  • When will these episodes be released? Good question! We are thinking sometime in July.
  • What about recording pick up lines? As needed. Probably the week after principal recording.
  • Do I have to be a professional voice actor to submit? No, absolutely not, but you do need to be able to record clean, clear audio and sound like a professional.
  • What if my email server says the file is too big to send? Simply reexport or recompress the file as an MP3, not a WAV or other non-compressed file type.
  • But, I have other questions… See the casting call sheets. Many of the other questions should be answered there. If not, there’s an email address on each that you can use to contact the production team as needed.

That’s all, folks. If you’ve read all this, we thank you for your interest, and we hope that you’ll submit some great reads in our first-ever casting call for Station 151. Cheers!
